These articles always bring out the best in Gizmodo commenters. It’s like two ships passing in the night. Both sides just don’t understand the other side. Android lovers- yes, you are right. You like to be in control. You like to be able to choose to have a faster processor, or a bigger screen, or brag about your SnaggleDragon processor, or note that you’re not like everyone else (while also claiming that there’s only one way to make a phone/tablet look) etc. So we get comments like, “I have to have a 8” screen with a quint-core 5.6Mhz SnaggleDragon processor and it so totally rulez! And my battery life is fine because I carry around my 20 extendo-life packs with me so it lasts 7 hours. And I don’t need your walled garden because I have fully customized it with the best so it looks absolutely nothing like an iPhone, and people look at it and go, “What is that?” and I smile because I think differ… um, I’m not sheeple!” iPhone lovers- yes, you are right. You don’t care. It just works. You want to be able to have someone else make decisions for you that optimize most things, and get a good battery life and performance so you can have your calls dropped all day long. You think differently, and your different thinking is right this time (unlike the Mac) because everyone else is buying one too. So we get comments like, “I don’t need a bigger screen because Apple knows my thumb size and optimized the screen for my thumb and I wouldn’t know a megahertz if it bit me and distracted me from playing Angry Birds, which runs fine. My battery life rocks, which is is great, because I have no idea how to replace a battery, and Apple knows this, which is why they won’t let me do it. I like having Apple approve my apps, because the internet is a dangerous place, and I’m afraid that if they didn’t, those evil pigs might get my eggs. Some day I might customize my iPhone a little more, when Apple thinks I am ready for it, but in the meantime, I got this really awesome case to show what an individual I am!
If These Early iPhone 4S Benchmarks Are Legit, It’s Pretty Fast
